Are you a Black Friday Fanatic? Lake County shoppers can get a head start on holiday gift buying on Black Friday at Great Lakes Mall, which will open at midnight on November 23, 2012 for the second consecutive year.
To keep shoppers energized, Jesse Webb Entertainment will DJ music, games and giveaways at the Great Lakes Mall community stage in the Macy’s concourse from midnight to 4:30 a.m. The first 100 shoppers to register at the stage when the mall opens will receive a Midnight Swag Bag filled with samples and other offers from mall retailers. The first 100 shoppers who register at the Guest Services booth at 6 a.m. will receive a reusable, Coca-Cola tote filled with coupons, samples and other goodies.
“We are ready to kick off the holiday shopping season,” said Renee Lanzara, director of marketing and business development for Great Lakes Mall. “Opening at midnight is exciting, and it allows our shoppers even more time to take advantage of the best sales of the year!”
In typical Black Friday fashion, retailers will offer deals on popular items. This year, early holiday shoppers can score deals on items such as men’s, women’s and children’s apparel, shoes, toys, as well as bath and beauty products.
In case you haven’t been to Great Lakes Mall since last holiday season, there are a few more stores to add to your shopping list! In 2011, the mall underwent a complete renovation, which included updates to mall entrances, new flooring, expanded soft seating areas and more. In addition to new stores such as Teavana, H&M and Brow Art 23, the property will welcome Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza to it’s lineup in 2012. Anchored by Macy*s, Sears, jcpenney and Dillard’s, the mall is home to more than 120 specialty shops. Numerous eateries like Fuji Japan Steakhouse, Max & Erma’s and The Olive Garden provide a multitude of dining options to shoppers.
We’ll see you at the community stage in front of Macy*s!
