Lawnfield Inn & Suites is the perfect Lake County getaway. Located off Mentor Avenue, Lawnfield Inn reflects the tone and feeling of that “Somewhere in Time” bygone era while adding comfort and quality – all at an affordable rate. You can even bring your pet along with you. They have a great following of people from the Cleveland area who just go to get away for the weekend. There is even a Scottish following who knit in the foyer, then dine at Skye and finally visit until they say “Guid night an sweit dreams”.
Keep the pool in mind during the summer for a great retreat for the kids. They also offer poolside and veranda dining options during those months. When the evenings get chilly, you will be offered throw blankets to make the outdoor seating more comfortable. Nancy and Rob Kneen, the owners, saw this idea at a little restaurant in South Africa and decided to bring it here for us to enjoy.
