Passport 2 Plants Presents “Life’s A Garden…Dig It!”

Get GROWING! Each spring, gardeners visit northeast Ohio for the annual Passport 2 Plants, a unique garden-oriented event sponsored by Perry Madison Green Industries (PMGI). The event is great for gardeners who want to shop a variety of nurseries and garden centers to fill their landscapes while saving money and possibly even winning some prizes
The event is takes place May 5, 6 & 7 throughout Eastern Lake County and is sponsored by three area garden centers: Middle Ridge Gardens, Martin’s Garden Center, and Sabo’s Woodside Nursery & Garden Center. Each garden center will offer family-oriented entertainment, gardening tips and additional attractions. Don’t miss any of the garden centers as they each have their own specialties.
How it works
Visitors get a free passport that will be stamped at each garden center for a total of 3 stamps. Make sure to get your passport stamped to receive an entry form for that garden center’s $50 raffle.
After your last stamp at the third garden center, you will receive a golden entry form to enter into the drawing for a $150 gift certificate!
The Annual Downtown Willoughby Rib Burn Off returns! In its 6th year, the Red, White and BBQ Rib Burn Off has quickly become one of the biggest and most anticipated events to take place in Willoughby.
Drawing thousands of people from all over Lake County, the two-day event is going to rock this town again – even more than last year’s record-breaking success! Erie Street will be closed to all traffic for both days. And this year the Burn Off is expanding to three stages featuring live local and national bands – plus vendors and a complete kid’s zone. Look for beer and craft cocktails on Erie Street, and, of course, ribs from participating downtown Willoughby restaurants and national vendors.
