Hello and Merry Christmas to all the boys and girls in Lake County who are anxiously awaiting Christmas just like Mrs. Claus and I have been doing!
The elves at my North Pole Workshop have been busy making toys around the clock while I have been welcomed once again to Great Lakes Mall.
I just love sitting in my red velvet lined sleigh and watching the shoppers as they pass through the Dillard’s South concourse. I already visited with hundreds of friends who stop by to whisper their wish list, share a smile and capture memories! It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
As I look over my lists, I can already tell that toys like Lego and Barbie are topping the lists this year, so the elves are working overtime to make holiday dreams come true.
The other day, a little boy named Vincent asked me what my favorite kind of cookie is so that he can make sure he has them ready for me. I, of course, told him chocolate chip cookies were my favorite. He even said that he’d put a sign on the plate of cookies to make sure that no one in his family ate them before I got there on Christmas Eve. I just love how children are always thinking of others… it’s the true spirit of Christmas!
I am so excited for Christmas and cannot wait to visit all of the homes in Lake County on Christmas Eve to leave you presents and toys. Rudolph and the other reindeer are very excited to fly to your homes!
