This year, in its 22nd year, The Annual Willoughby ArtsFest will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 10:00am – 5:00pm.
This event is presented by the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by various local and national businesses. The show is located in Historical Downtown Willoughby, is free to attend, and attracts 15,000 visitors. The biggest news of all? The planning has started!
Currently, the Art’s Fest committee is working on judging the artists who will be showcased in the approximately 150 artists and vendors who are selected to display their work. There are thirteen different juried categories of art: Ceramics, Glass, Drawing, Graphic & Computer Design, Jewelry, Metalsmithing, Painting, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textile & Leather and Wood. There are also non-juried vendors selling high quality crafts. It’s easy to find something you will fall in love with that’s within your budget!
ATTENTION FOODIES! Right now, they are accepting applications from local food vendors that will showcase their many different culinary styles of cooking. You will also be able to try specialty snacks and foods in the restaurants of Historic Downtown Willoughby. There are many new restaurants that recently opened their doors so even if you have not visited in a few months, you may just find your new favorite dinner spot.
